A local operator is seeking a skilled Purchaser to join there office. The ideal candidate would have the following experience: 5 years experience purchasing Will be responsible for generating and submitting purchase orders in accordance with the company policy and procedures Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute itemsProvides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data trendsPlease apply today for this amazing opportunity!
