Job Description

OBJECTIVE

The Aftermarket Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies and related business cases to enhance the Companys Aftermarket parts capture, revenue and profitability. Specifically, this includes developing sales promotions, marketing campaigns, eCommerce initiatives, capture initiatives, marketing materials, and training materials.

This position requires strong analytic capabilities including developing strategies to capture detailed voice of customer, analyzing sales trends, analyzing campaign performance, and in general utilizing analytics to support the development of sales and marketing strategies

The position will be responsible for developing and manage an eCommerce infrastructure to enable dealers to sell parts online.

This position requires strong financial acumen in order to be able to develop detailed business cases, analyze P&L drivers and manage budgets.

RESPONSIBILITY

Voice of Customer (VOC)

  • Utilize a wide variety of VOC methods to capture information to be used in the formulation of sales and marketing strategies including surveys, managing a Parts Advisory Council, dealer/customer visits, etc

Dealer Capture

  • Develop and execute initiatives to improve dealer capture. Work closely with the Field Sales staff to execute. Examples include: managing the dealer parts review, providing materials for regional parts meetings, etc

Bobcat Advantage Training

  • Develop a wide variety of tools to educate dealers and customers on the benefits of Bobcat Aftermarket products including Bobcat University training, promotional videos, in store displays, in person training, etc

Merchandising

  • Ensure the availability of a wide variety of appropriate Bobcat branded merchandise items and the dealers have the display mechanisms and brand rules to establish effective showrooms. In addition, explore other channels to increase sales of Bobcat merchandise (e.g. online store, retail partnerships)

Develop Sales Promotions

  • Analyze trends in individual products and follow a systematic, repeatable approach to develop targeted promotions (discounts or others) to stimulate dealer and end customer sales. Document proposals in a consistent manner and obtain management approval. Ensure all required parties are notified in advance to ensure successful execution (e.g. material is in stock to support promotion). Measure success of promotions to achieve objectives

Marketing Campaigns

  • Translate Compact Aftermarket, LRP and AOP goals into actionable marketing campaigns while coordinating with the Wholegoods Marketing Department. Execute marketing campaigns directed at dealers and customers over a wide variety of channels including print, web, email, social media, etc. Measure the effectiveness of campaigns

eCommerce

  • Develop and manage an infrastructure that allows end customers to purchase aftermarket products online. Closely collaborate with dealers and a wide variety of internal departments in the execution

Events

  • Develop the displays, materials, layouts and staffing plans for any events involving a Bobcat Aftermarket presence including trade shows and dealer meetings

Strategy Development

  • Utilize a wide variety of inputs to develop, articulate and execute majore sales and marketing strategic initiatives

Job Requirements

  • MBA is a plus.
  • Marketing skills.
  • Understanding of Sales / Customer service
  • Strong understanding of Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Bachelors Degree required in Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology
  • Experience: 7>10 years
  • Experience with eCommerce, CRM or like business systems
  • Travel: 10 - 24 %
