Marketing Representative at Bismarck

Job Description

Frequently travels an assigned branch territory assisting in the management of agency results, fostering profitable growth and addressing agency issues as they arise in support of branch goals and objectives.  Acts as the primary branch contact for agencies within the territory, representing the branch on a wide variety of marketing and underwriting issues.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree preferably with a marketing or other business major required.  Relevant experience may be substituted for college degree at the rate of two years experience for one year of college.  A minimum of three years work experience in property and casualty insurance industry or related field required.  Commitment to insurance-related training required with INS and/or AU designations preferred.  CPCU and/or CIC designation or work toward designations highly desired.

A strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance as well as independent agency operations required. 
Excellent verbal and communication skills needed.  A high standard of ethics and professional competence required.  Must have demonstrated problem solving abilities and strong human relation skills.

Strong presentation skills needed.  Regular travel with overnight travel required.  A valid drivers license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required.
