Butler Machinery Company, a third generation family owned Caterpillar Dealer for North and South Dakota areas is seeking Diesel Technicians. Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot & repair all models of Caterpillar truck engines, construction equipment, or Ag equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Truck chassis troubleshooting and repair
• Some customer contact
• Complete service reports, timecards, parts orders accurately
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Diesel Technician experience within agricultural equipment, heavy equipment or truck engine repair combined with a Diesel/Auto Technology degree OR;
• 5 years of Diesel Technician experience within agricultural equipment, heavy equipment or truck engine repair
• Valid CDL A or the ability to obtain one
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be willing to submit and pass a drug test
• Overtime will be required as workload dictates
• Relocate to North or South Dakota. Relocation assistance may be provided.
