Job Description
Operations Coordinator Position ObjectiveThe purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to facilitate and maintainan active role by providing training, quality assurance by discoveringand/or implementing process enhancements for team functions to new andexisting employees. The Operations Coordinator will also assist withworkload reporting to ensure timeliness expectations are met.
Job Requirements
hr>Operations CoordinatorEducation and/or Experience- College or technical school degree preferred with 1 or more years of Medicare experience or equivalent education and experience.
Knowledge
- CMS Standards, IOM
- Knowledge of Medicare/NAS processing guidelines
- Knowledge of all NAS team functions
- Knowledge of MCS/FISS and other Medicare Systems
- Advanced software knowledge such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Visio, Publisher and Snag-It.
- Training theories and practices
- Knowledge of implementation and development of plans of action
- Knowledge of quality assurance and rebuttal processes
Abilities
- Facilitation and presentation skills (for small and large groups)
- Flexibility to adapt to change
- Research, design and implement training classes/courses
- Advanced level of PC skills
- Comprehensive reading and interpretation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Provide encouraging communication through positive and constructive feedback Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all settings
