Job Description
Were looking for an energetic and enthusiasticindividual who is passionate about providing quality credit analysis and service for new credit card applicants, existing card members,and bank employees.The selected candidate will actas a consultant in the area of credit analysis and communicate a consistent way of evaluating credit quality within the organization.Responsibilities Include:
-Evaluating and decisioning credit card applications
-Serves as a contact for Financial Institutions/Joint Issuance partners/U.S. Bank on new credit card applications as well as existing account requests
-Maintains a working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, operational systems and process, regulatory or policy changes as well as industry changes
-Attends and participates in formal and informal training programs
-When necessary, contacts customers to validate or obtain additional information needed to make a credit decision
-Effectively handles incoming calls from credit applicants on new applications as well as other credit questions
This position is full time, Monday - Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PMwith roating weekend shifts.Equitable time off will be given during the week in which a weekend shift is worked.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills
-A pleasant and professional demeanor
-PC proficiency utilizing a variety of software packages in a Windows base environment
-Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
-The ability to work well with a variety of personalities
-Must be self-starter and work well independently with limited direct supervision
-Must be willing to work a flexible and varied schedule as the business needs demand
