SALES SPECIALIST ~ Parts, Garments & Accessories ~ PG&A SALES SUPPORT

** This position is in Thief River Falls, MN **

SUMMARY FOR SALES SPECIALIST ~ Parts, Garments & Accessories ~ PG&A SALES SUPPORT: This newly created assignment is responsible for: PG&A specific sales support to the North American dealer network and Arctic Cat sales organization. The individual will focus on an identified subset of North American dealers (PG&A Target Stores) and will provide them additional PG&A attention/information ( recommendations on product information to help their District Sales Managers sell, program information,) to fuel increased PG&A sales growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for SALES SPECIALIST ~ Parts, Garments & Accessories ~ PG&A SALES SUPPORT:

Create a selection process to identify top dealer opportunities for accelerated PG&A sales growth (20%+). Study the available data and make recommendations on which dealers will be in the PG&A Target Stores.

With the DSM, conduct an introductory face to face business meeting with each of the dealers in the PG&A Target Stores to identify the plan". Once the dealer, DSM and Sales Specialist have signed off on the plan, start providing the additional assistance to the dealer as outlined in the plan on an ongoing basis.

Conduct at least 2 face to face meetings with the PG&A Target Stores per year. Telephone and electronic communication to be ongoing.

Stay current on all PG&A on going promotions. Keep the PG&A Target Stores and other top PG&A dealers aware of the key programs. Be knowledgeable of the Pre Season ordering programs and help the dealers place their orders to maximize the program benefits and the dealers business objectives.

Stay current on product information for all PG&A products. Utilize the expertise of other PG&A team members when sizeable product specific opportunities arise (eg selling dealers on purchasing Arctic Cat parts versus the Aftermarket).

Assist any of the North American DSMs in their efforts to increase PG&A sales within their District.

Work with Aftermarket Specialist in the inventory group to help identify Arctic Cat PG&A that may be targeted by aftermarket so it can be tracked and modifications to pricing and programs can be made accordingly.

Conduct ongoing informal audits of competitive product on sale within dealerships that are participating in our IS Loyalty program. Work with the Service Parts Manager to resolve any possible infractions.

Active participation in all major dealer shows including WCS booth representation, assisting PG&A Target Stores on their Pre Season orders and assisting the DSMs.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS for SALES SPECIALIST ~ Parts, Garments & Accessories ~ PG&A SALES SUPPORT: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Strong teaching and training skills related to both retail sales and merchandising.

Experience in consultative selling.

Strong business acumen with a focus on creating business growth..

Knowledge of category management, store fixturing and contemporary point of sale tactics.

Knowledge of writing effective business plans.

Experience in the Powersports industry and solid awareness of the competitive landscape for all of our PG&A competitors.

Project management skills ability to implement project according to timeline and budget and monitor progress on a monthly basis.

Computer savvy comfortable using Word, PowerPoint, Excel to track and communicate business progress.

Solid communication skills written and verbal.

10. Ability to garner support from other Arctic Cat departments, dealers and outside vendors.

11. Possession of a passport and ability to travel extensively within North America.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE for SALES SPECIALIST ~ Parts, Garments & Accessories ~ PG&A SALES SUPPORT:

College degree is preferred.

Experience in the power sports industry, preferably merchandising Arctic Cat products and related PG &A.

Experience in hard-line (parts and accessories) and soft line (Arcticwear).

Strong teaching and training skills related to merchandising at retail.

Sales network experience a definite asset.trng leader with a rolled up sleeves" style to go deep into the tactical details to achieve success
