Job Description

Sales Representative - Houston, TX We are looking for a highly energized and highly enthusiastic individual that is looking to start their career with Multiband in our Houston, TX location!!

Multiband is a nationwide technology-focused service company that provides video, technology, communication and energy service solutions. The Sales Representative is responsible the sales performance of his/her territory for all products offered by Multiband Corporation. Currently, those following products are DIRECTV Residential and Commercial services, The DIRECTV Protection Plan, Premier Protection Plan and Exede Satellite Internet service.

This position offers a salary, plus monthly commission based on your ability to grow sales within the assigned territory. The Sales Representative will be 100% responsible to for all sales communication via daily and weekly emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interaction with Multiband management members and technician work force. Individual must be comfortable talking in front of groups of up to 50 people and comfortable with written and oral communication.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage and report the performance for each of the assigned field services sites to help identify opportunities for growth and areas of improvement.
  • Maintain and encourage all employees to have a positive attitude towards the sales program and culture of the company as a whole.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Multiband employees understand the opportunities for additional income through the sales program and educating all employees on the correct procedures for making referrals, handing out marketing materials and tracking sales.
  • Responsible for calling every employee in assigned territory that has made a sale within 24 hours to notify them of the sale and give congratulations.
  • Will take ownership on all communication to each of the assigned territories when it comes to contests, promotions and sales bonuses.
  • Educating all local trainers on the sales program and how to conduct sales presentations to other employees.
  • Effectively and efficiently convey morals, mission, vision, ideas and goals from senior management directly to team members and any personnel from any department that he/she may come in contact with through the course of business.
  • Update the Director of Sales on the daily, weekly, and monthly residential sales numbers to ensure trends are identified and appropriate action is taken to minimize risk and optimize opportunities.
  • 75% travel required.

Job Requirements

Sales Representative - Houston, TX Skills/Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, have a high level of motivation, enthusiasm and energy.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Required to travel Monday through Friday for up to 3 weeks per month.
  • Have at least two years work experience in customer service or sales related position.
