Outside Sales/Territory Manager Position

Wausau Supply Company (WSC) was founded in 1947 and is an employee owned (ESOP) company that distributes building materials to authorized dealers throughout the United States. 

WSC is dedicated to retaining the industry’s highest-quality employees and we are currently in pursuit of finding the right candidate to become our next Fargo, North Dakota outside sales representative.  WSC is seeking an individual who displays a strong work ethic and the ability to remain customer focused, competitive and goal oriented.  If you have 2-3 years B2B (business to business) outside sales experience, with a genuine interest in the building material industry, we are interested in talking to you! 

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Prospecting and lead generation
• Achieving designated sales goals and overcoming obstacles
• Development of customer presentations and proposals
• Discipline to use CRM software to document customer calls and potential sale opportunities
• Maintains up to date knowledge on industry trends and secures leads
• Coordinating customer events
• Available for overnight travel
• Ensures customer satisfaction & problem resolution
• Ability to successfully negotiate, present and close
• Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook)
• Ability to manage account list
• Ability to work closely with Regional Manager/Team to achieve sales goals

Qualified candidates must exemplify the high standards of being innovative, results oriented and the ability to communicate professionally.  A bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing is preferred.
