We are currently seeking aOil andGas engineerto work on energy projects in the North Dakota area. This position does not require relocation to the North Dakota area. The right candidate will be able to work from a home office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES OF POSITION: (All duties as directed to include, but not limited to the following:)

Responsible for engineering tasks with an emphasis on oil and gas pipeline design.

Lead and develop a team of highly engaged and productive engineering, CAD, survey , GIS mapping, and ROW professionals in a successful delivery of pipeline projects.

Individual must be flexible and able to work on different facets of a project from concept studies to preliminary and final design tasks, to construction phase services.

Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaption/modification of standard techniques and procedures.

Devises new solutions to problems encountered.

Independently performs most assignments with instruction only regarding expected results.

This position receives technical guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval of proposed project plans.

Although expected to work independently on most assignments, this position must be able to interact well with other team members and the manager relative to assigned aspects of the project.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in an applicable engineering field and status as a registered PE.

SKILLS/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS: 5-10years engineering experience in the oil and gas industry with knowledge and proficiency in pipeline design, pump station design, compressor station design, PHMSA 49 CFR Part 192 and 195, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, experience working in teams, and effective communication skills necessary.Individual must have an excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
