Job Description

Maintenance Technician:As a Maintenance Technician for Murphy USAs Renewable Energy Plants, you will maintain plant machinery and equipment systems while performing other duties required to ensure plant production process continues. In addition, you will install new machinery and equipment on a project by project basis. You will normally be responsible for the preventative and routine maintenance of all machinery and equipment systems of the plant under the daily supervision of the Maintenance Manager along with any other duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements: Associates degree or knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. equivalent to four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability Manual dexterity Detail oriented Mechanically inclined
