District Manager at Williston

Job Description

Directs the daily operations of the district ensuring HSE, service and technical excellence to our customers.



Job Requirements

Including but not limited to:

  • Is the safety leader in the district by setting an example, following and improving of company safety policies and leading/participating in safety meetings
  • Manages a staff of direct reports to coordinate assembly of new equipment, repairs, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures
  • Ensures proper maintenance of district backlog/requisitions.
  • Confers with customers to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area
  • Works closely with corporate sales to grow the business
  • Develops plans for efficient use of materials, facility and employees
  • Reviews district costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of district
  • Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets
  • Works closely with HR to recruit, hire and train the staff, evaluate employee performance, improve performance and administer disciplinary actions when required
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting process with management.
  • Ensuring company equipment such as vehicles and machinery is maintained properly
  • Responsible for DOT regulation enforcement should the district have DOT registered drivers and vehicles
  • Directly supervises in the Service Center Location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicablelaws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

  • Education and/or ExperienceBachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two to five years sales and management experience; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Other Requirements Must be able to travel 50% of the time (overnight travel 10-15%)
  • Knowledge of oilfield applications for both pump and flow control products, knowledge of product technician specifications are preferred
