Field Service Engineer Job

Leading global, growing manufacturer of oil/gas products and services is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer for the Bakken region.The ideal candidate will be located in the Dickinson or Williston area. The selected candidate will be offered an excellent compensation package consisting of a very competitve salary ranging from $70k to $100k (depending on experience), potential bonus, OT, company vehicle, comprehensive array of benefits, retirement and paid vacation.

Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer

• Responsible for providing customers with technical support, field service, test and calibration of company products and services.
• Assist product support functions such as technical support, in-house product repair, RMA activity and electronic instrument repair
• Manage departmental assets, deliver service report orders and warranty acitivity
• Respond to requests for field service within assigned territory
• Perform on-site start ups, inspect installation, test system functions and train customers on operation and maintenance
• Provide field inspections and analysis of all products and report on product quality and design deficiencies

Requirements for the Field Service Engineer

• Associates degree in electronic or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Possess strong mechanical and electronic aptitude, understanding of manufactured products used in the oil/gas industry
• Experience with electronic component diagnostics and use of electronic circuit test equipment
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with strong customer service experience
