DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Maintenance of track infrastructure including: construction, inspection and repair of track and other railroad property/facilities; 2) equipment operation and maintenance; and 3) travel and work within assigned geographic area.

SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures such as: wear required safety equipment; respond to and act on safety concerns.

TRACK MAINTENANCE REPAIR AND INSTALLATION: Repair and rebuild railroad track, using power and non-power hand tools. Lift/carry track material; cut brush, trees and vegetation; clear right-of-way of litter and cargo spillage. Maintenance performed by pulling spikes from ties, drilling holes through rails for bolt insertion, and fitting bolts.

MAINTAIN TRACKBED: Cut rail, manually compress ballast, remove/install ties, lift, roll, and adjust rails, and lift/carry track material with assistance.

OPERATE EQUIPMENT: Remove/replace ballast; operate non-powered hand tools such as: shovels, picks, axes, cutters, sledgehammers; operate proper electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic hand tools such as: drills, impact wrenches, jacks, power saws, grinders.

Bobcat Advantage Training

  • Develop a wide variety of tools to educate dealers and customers on the benefits of Bobcat Aftermarket products including Bobcat University training, promotional videos, in store displays, in person training, etc

Merchandising

  • Ensure the availability of a wide variety of appropriate Bobcat branded merchandise items and the dealers have the display mechanisms and brand rules to establish effective showrooms. In addition, explore other channels to increase sales of Bobcat merchandise (e.g. online store, retail partnerships)

Develop Sales Promotions

  • Analyze trends in individual products and follow a systematic, repeatable approach to develop targeted promotions (discounts or others) to stimulate dealer and end customer sales. Document proposals in a consistent manner and obtain management approval. Ensure all required parties are notified in advance to ensure successful execution (e.g. material is in stock to support promotion). Measure success of promotions to achieve objectives

Marketing Campaigns

  • Translate Compact Aftermarket, LRP and AOP goals into actionable marketing campaigns while coordinating with the Wholegoods Marketing Department. Execute marketing campaigns directed at dealers and customers over a wide variety of channels including print, web, email, social media, etc. Measure the effectiveness of campaigns

eCommerce

  • Develop and manage an infrastructure that allows end customers to purchase aftermarket products online. Closely collaborate with dealers and a wide variety of internal departments in the execution

Events

  • Develop the displays, materials, layouts and staffing plans for any events involving a Bobcat Aftermarket presence including trade shows and dealer meetings

Strategy Development

  • Utilize a wide variety of inputs to develop, articulate and execute majore sales and marketing strategic initiatives
