Tech Support Analyst I at Fargo

Job Description

Tech Support Analyst IPosition Objective

To provide assistance and first level support for issues related to technical support, including but not limited to trouble shooting production problems, installation of new hardware and software for LAN, WAN, PBX, Security, Databases and/or server environments. 
Knowledge 
  • Computer hardware and software concepts 
  • Basic understanding of communication equipment 
  • Basic software and hardware installation 
  • Basic security concepts 
  • Basic LAN/WAN concepts 
  • Basic knowledge in at least one of the specified areas: LAN, 
  • mainframe, communication equipment or servers required. 

Abilities 
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals 
  • Problem analysis 
  • Mechancical skills 
  • Able to be on call 24 hrs/day 
  • Verbal and written communication skills 
  • Assist on projects under guidance of mentor

Job Requirements

Tech Support Analyst IEducation and/or Experience

Technical or college degree in I.T. related field of study or 3 years experience in related field
