HB Rentals is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join their team. (May consider any applicants who are willing to relocate from anywhere up North within a 8 hour drive from Williston, ND.)
Summary
This individual will maintain and establish customer relations with rig location and field office personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Visit oilfield locations and offices in assigned coverage area to assess customer satisfaction and assist with determining existing or potential customers’ specific equipment needs.
- Provide Regional Sales Managers with main areas of concern. Plan week accordingly. Discuss with District Service Manager at weekly Monday meeting.
- Closely monitor day-to-day operations and maintain close communications with district managers.
- Immediately inform Regional Sales Managers of all quotes and pricing issues for review.
- Assist operations in getting delivery tickets, work orders and invoices signed.
- Forward sales and expense reports to Field Sales Coordinators no later than 7am Monday morning.
- Legibly fill out time sheets and maintenance reports.
- Maintain Company Vehicle and other equipment assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably industry related.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and technically to oil field rig location field office personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and technical procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, and business and routine correspondence.
- Ability to discern common issues, set priorities, multi-task, resolve problems, negotiate and manage time.
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach. Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Quantitative skills, including calculating percentages.
- Conduct self in professional manner at all times.
- Ability to stay alert as to make safe decisions and use proper judgment.
- Receives constructive feedback in a positive manner.
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry preferred.
- General knowledge of PPE required on land locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
