Account Manager at Tioga

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage sales relationships and profitability of new/existing accounts within their territory
-Increase sales with special emphasis on establishing and extracting value, based on technical competencies of Air Liquide and associated services
-Collaborate with Oil and Gas Business Development and Operations Team to help achieve sales objectives
-Manage pricing for assigned accounts
-Develop new business including liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide, small onsite NPUs for the oil and gas sector
-Prepare/submit accurate and timely reports (weekly call plan, daily call reports, etc)
-Meet or exceed target for sales, gross profit, general expenses
-Apply sales, general, administrative policies/procedures
-Meet or exceed corporate safety goals
-Collaborate with regional production plants to ensure customer deliveries/requirements are met in accordance with customer expectations, efficiency objectives
-Maintain up-to-date customer, prospect, competitive customer information in SalesForce.com (CRM system)
-Provide customers with information on new products/services
-Provide product/process assistance to customers
-Support customer collection efforts as required
-Manage travel expenses; meets individualized training requirements

Job Requirements


-5+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience with preferred experience selling to chemical, industrial or manufacturing clients; knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred
-Experience with value-based selling with a strong track record of cold calling and prospecting for new business
-Bachelors degree; Engineering or Science major is preferred
-Strong contract negotiation skills
-Technical background in engineering or science discipline is preferred
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels in an organization
-Strong computer skills including the ability to utilize Salesforce.com and other technical tools to manage sales activity, produce reports
-Ability to travel (air, car) to meet with clients, attend meetings as required; ability to carry lap top computer
