Job Responsibilities

As a Parts Counter Sales Associate you will perform a variety of customer service, marketing, promoting, and stocking duties related to parts sales and the receiving and delivery of parts/accessories. You will be responsible for assisting customers in person and via phone as well as ensuring that customers and technicians are provided with their parts in an efficient and professional manner. Additional responsibilities:

• Proactively expanding product and business knowledge by studying and staying current on relevant industry and product information
• Maintaining proficiency with all company business systems, including multiple computer functions
• Answering telephone calls and customer inquiries
• Providing exemplary, prompt customer service
• Assisting in developing stock orders
• Checking, receiving, shipping, and storing parts and freight as needed in accordance with all guidelines
• Conducting cycle counts and/or full physical inventory
• Handling point-of-sale invoicing, repair and internal parts orders, and orders for vendors
• Marketing other products during customer contact, “up sell"
• Maintaining organization of products and supplies to enable quick location of items
• Presenting a positive and professional image of Titan Machinery in the presence of customers and community

Job Requirements

Parts Counter Sales Associate
To be a successful Parts Counter Sales Associate, you will need excellent communication skills, multi-tasking abilities, and strong customer service skills. We are looking for an individual with a high level of initiative who can work independently. Think you have what it takes? We want to hear from you! Additional requirements:

• Associate’s degree in related field, preferred
• Experience in related field preferred, but will train
• High level of computer literacy/skills
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively
• Demonstrated strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Safety-minded work habits
• Strong marketing and selling competencies
• Clean driving record
