Job Description
Inside Sales RepresentativePosition ObjectiveThe purpose of this position is to service and retain existing ancillary lines of business in all current NISI groups statewide. The position will also require working with the implementation, sale and enrollment benefits in both new and existing groups; responsible to assist the Agency Manager with the coordination of the activities of the home office; and, be responsible for materials and agent support for the individual sales through the NISI website.
There is a possibility that agent training will be involved.
Knowledge
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the various companies represented
- In depth knowledge of Underwriting regulations, policies, benefit design and administration of all ancillary product ( Life, LTD, STD, dental, vision, LTC, cancer, Accident, Hospital, Critical)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret information, contracts, technical procedures or
- government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Reasoning ability, able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid
- conclusions
- Company policies and procedures
- Human relations (dealing with angry people)
- Sales/Marketing theories and practices
- In depth knowledge of software: Microsoft Office suite, CRM, OnBase, web based enrollment systems.

Job Requirements
Inside Sales RepresentativeEducation and/or ExperienceBachelors degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or five
years related experience in the Insurance Industry.
