Job Description
TMI Hospitality of Fargo is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to join their team! The Assistant Construction Superintendent is responsible for completing light administrative duties and assisting the Construction Superintendent in the day to day operations of the construction project and job site.
Essential Functions:
Assists the Construction Superintendent in the following activities as directed:
- Responds to field staff questions regarding contractors, materials, supplies, etc.
- Makes shipping and storage arrangements if necessary.
- Notifies contractors and project managers of product deliveries.
- Contacts and/or responds to accounting and purchasing staff questions related to project coordination.
- Assists with resolving project related issues.
- Completes inventory of materials upon project completion.
- Reviews and approves subcontractor progress payments.
- Conducts weekly safety meetings.
- Assigns and delegates responsibilities and provides work direction.
- Assists with the day to day operation of subcontractors to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Enforces safety guidelines to subcontractors.
- Files purchase orders and complete other clerical duties as assigned.
- Ensures weekly schedule updates.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
- Ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions.
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours with limited travel. Schedules may vary based on business need.

Education, Experience:
- Associations Degree preferred and a minimum 2-3 years for experience in construction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
