We are actively seeking an aggressive, dependable, motivated, organized individual to join our swine sales team.
As a Swine Genetic Sales Representative you would be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume with established accounts while aggressively seeking new customers. Our Sales Reps deliver value-added programs with the full line of Feed, Feed Additives, Mineral, Animal Health, Biological, while ensuring profitable sales growth in the sales territory.
Along with a passion for and experience in the livestock industry, the qualified candidates will have exceptional customer relations skills and organizational talents. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter, results oriented and driven by both financial and career opportunities.
Value added proposition, in depth Swine/Poultry knowledge and well-developed business communication skills are considered assets. Considerable travel with in the territory will be required, occasional overnights.
Job Duties and Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel Eastern SD, SW Minnesota, and South East North Dakota
- Must have Agronomy Background
- B.S. Agronomy-related field (preferred)
- 2+ years sales experience
- Some cold calling on Commercial Type Swine, Poultry, and Cattle operations
- Must be flexible with scheduling, managing and have ability to build accounts, work independently
