3. Job Description Performs routine duties required to receive and complete orders from customers or Outside Sales Reps using standard forms and following routing procedures. Information such as stock number, quality and prices. Also maintains files on quotes and orders. If applicable, sends acknowledgements of quotes or orders.

4. Reports to Department Manager

*Ability to prioritize and stay on task

5. Specific Duties
*Heavy telephone usage and proper etiquett at all times.
*Receive designated number of phone calls ondaily basis
*Correctly and neatly complete all quotes and orders, avoid RGA errors.
*Complete designated number of orders on a daily basis.
*Recognize customer needs and develop positive relationship.
*Resolve customer problems with minimum supervision.
*Properly process changes after orders are typed.
*Communicate with Outside Sales Reps and Department Manager when necesary.

Outside Sales Duties

Dealer Expectations:
*Maintain a regular and predictable call schedule for each location.
*Keep an inventory of catalogs with pricing and literature continuously up-to-date.
*Timely field inspections and service.
*All efforts must be made to contact builder and/or homowner the dame day the Dealer contacts BPI seller.
*Schedule field inspections and service resolutions withing one week of the initial contact, if at all posssible.
*All builder and homeowner contacts, including resolutions, need to be logged on BPI service request form. Copy this logged form to the Dealer & BPI.

*Quotation requests completed within 24 hours maximum. If BPI needs addition information to accomplish a quote, this information must be pursued vigorously.
*Scheduled training, plan with location management at agreed intervals. Procedure for sales call at location.
*Visit stock millwork area. Recomment fill-ins that are needed.
*Review storage procedures, damage control and stock not put away with the appropriate people.

*Visit Special Order millwork area
Look for competitor items
*Look over BPI product for potential damage, condition etc. + Visit designated BPI RGA area
*Write up returns
Note other issues for discussion with appropriate Dealer personnel
*Check with payables manager and resolve any invoice disputes.
*Check with managers on operational issues.
*Make sales presentations
Have prepared 3-minute presentation ready: deliver to each/every seller and sale influencer.
*New quotation opportunities, Pending quotes on projects.
Be brief, informative and effective.
