Bus Drivers / Bus Operators at Fargo

Job Description

 

First Transit’s Fargo location is looking for friendly safety minded individuals for our MATBUS service in Fargo and Moorhead.  We safely transport the general public and vulnerable adults to work and other destinations.

Full Time positions are available immediately.

The service we provide is both fixed route(transit buses) and paratransit (smaller buses tailored to the needs of our passenger).  Our comprehensive training program will teach you both types of service and give you a new insights into safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.

Those individuals with a CDL(airbrake and passenger) will be give priority in hiring.  If you don’t have a CDL, we will train you so you can get one.

We will provide:

• Classroom and Behind the Wheel paid training
• Uniforms

• Medical/dental (for full time employees)

Job Requirements

Qualifications for all driving positions include:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience(any experience, not just commercial)
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test
