About the Position:
As a Test Administrator, you will administer tests in high schools and other educational institutions to individuals wishing to enter military service. This position will cover the Dickinson, ND area and up to a 100 mile radius of that area.
This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis".
This position will NOT lead to a full-time position.
Intermittent employees are not eligible for benefits.
Relocation expenses will not be paid.

As a Test Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions
Resolve problems and issues during the testing session
Conduct advance coordination with school officials to facilitate proper testing environment
Review applicant test admission forms
Prepare test session packages

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of general experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. General experience is defined as: Responsible for clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
Examples of qualifying general experience include answering phones, greeting visitors, and filing. These examples are typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-03).
This position requires you to be able to lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
- Knowledge of Clerical Processes
- Knowledge of Regulations and Security Procedures
- Skill to Communicate Orally
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:
You may substitute general experience at the GS-03 level with two (2) full academic years of undergraduate education above the high school level from an accredited college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university. NOTE: If using education to meet basic qualifications you must attach a copy of your transcripts to your application package.
You may substitute general experience at the GS-03 level with a combination of experience and education as described above. This may be computed by first determining your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify you for that grade level.
Only degrees from an accredited college or universityrecognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positiveeducation requirements or to substitute education for experience. HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:
