This position is the primary service and maintenance contact role with Ingersoll Rand Customers in the Fargo, ND market areas. It serves to Promote and maintain customer relationships by ensuring customer satisfaction, expanding the customer base, providing for parts/service recovery and new product sales.

Job Requirements

Key Accountabilities include:

Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of customers and co-workers.

Assist customers by providing technical assistance on start-ups, installations, and repairs of air compressors and related systems, up to and including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer requirements.

Use precision measuring tools for checking clearances; understands and uses electrical test equipment for all equipment. Maintain knowledge of all upgrades, retrofits, etc

Maintains knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment. Read prints and wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.

Serve as technical support for the Customer Service Managers.

Support sales and service efforts by responding to customer and IR requirements at any time, including weekends and holidays.

Increase IR customers awareness of how IR products, services, & solutions such as Package Care, Preventive maintenance, Competitive Service, Diagnostics, and Audits can benefit their operations. Actively participate in services and parts marketing plans.

Submit daily accurate, detailed reports and complete tasks on time.

Maintain company property, including vehicle and tools/equipment.
