Feed Sales Representative at Edgeley

Responsibilities

CHS Nutrition in North Dakota has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Nutrition Consultant. You will promote all aspects associated with the sales and services of the Payback TM products. You must be self motivated, customer focused, and a goal orientated sales representative with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Payback TM, our proprietary line of economical animal nutrition delivers consistent, proven results that give cattlemen a profit edge. In addition, experienced CHS animal nutritionists offer consultation on the latest in customized ration planning, livestock nutritional management, and animal health, as well as feed financing.

You will:

• Customize feeding programs that precisely meet the producers practices and preferences.
• Make recommendations and develop formulations unique the producers needs, using the latest technology.
• Ensure water, forage, grains and feeds are tested regularly in order to provide the most accurate ration balancing and performance projectionsProvide nutrition consultation and sales to key beef accounts in trade area.
• Provide salesmanship to selected dealers according to sales management and assigned dealership manager.
• Meet the needs and resolve problems of current customers.
• Prospect new accounts.
• Attend periodic trade shows and nutritional meetings where you will represent the company.
• Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies for assigned territory.
• Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of new products.
• Work with dealers and producers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain a home office and live in the region you work in.
• Daily travel throughout assigned sales territory with possibility of limited overnight stays.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 year Ag related degree, qualified work experience may substitute all or part of education.
• 1-3 year’s successful sales experience.
• Prior Feed and/or Beef Experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a Clean Driving Record
• Ability to travel with overnight stays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 year Ag related degree preferred
