Credit Support Specialist at Fargo

Job Description

The Credit Support Specialist provides high quality customer service by responding to telephone inquiries on credit card applications and existing credit card accounts. Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing all available credit information and routing applications to appropriate personnel for credit decisioning
  • Communicating daily with bank personal and customers throughout the application decisioning process
  • Ensuring that all information is gathered to appropriately make a credit decision
  • Ensuring bank personnel and customers are fully informed as to the status of the application as it moves through the underwriting process

The selected candidate will be scheduled to work 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday and every other Saturday. An equitable day offis scheduled in the week in which aSaturday shift is worked.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of clerical experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of lending operations, loan processing, documentation requirements and credit policies and procedures
- Well-developed records management and clerical skills
- Excellent customer service/relations skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
