Web Developers at Fargo

Volt has partnered with various firms in Fargo and is in search of top web developing talent! Youll work closely with a team of developers, architects, designers, and project managers, to build cutting-edge online solutions using cloud-based web, mobile, and social media technologies.

Qualified candidates are a developer at heart and demonstrate proficiency with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, and one or more server-side technologies such as SQL databases, PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, C#, or Apex. In addition, you have experience integrating JSON or XML APIs from Google, Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, Twitter, or other online web services.  Requirementsbachelors degree (or equivalent training/experience) and at least two years of professional experience developing online solutions
ability to work both independently and as part of a team
knowledge on how to build great solutions and understand development lifecycles including requirement specification, documentation, QA processes, source control (SVN), maintenance, and deployment
excellent written and verbal communication skills
positive attitude and a work hard/play hard mindset.

Additional skills helpful:
experience with web content management systems such as ExpressionEngine, WordPress, or Drupal
experience with email marketing tools such as ExactTarget, Constant Contact, or EmailLabs
experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, or SAP
experience with cloud-based platforms such as Force.com, Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, etc.), Microsoft Azure, or Google App Engine
experience with Apex or Visualforce programming on Force.com, including the Salesforce object model and APIs
knowledge of content delivery networks such as Akamai or Amazon CloudFront
experience with mobile development on iOS, Android, or WP7
