Service Technician - Mechanic – Service Technician – Machine Repair

 

Job Responsibilities

As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, machine repair, maintenance, and pre-delivery work on equipment. These activities may take place in our shop or on location. You will be trained on all of the products we offer and be expected to maintain technical equipment knowledge.

 
Other responsibilities of the Service Technician include:

• Performing reconditions of machine systems and components
• Completing all reports and forms required with work assignments
• Communicating problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers
• Utilizing computer programs to effectively complete assignments
• Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties
• Completing competency assessments as required
• Analyzing customer complaints and identifying solutions
• Presenting a positive and professional image

Job Requirements

Service Technician (Mechanic)

As a Service Technician you must be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively. You must be a problem solver who works well independently and has an excellent mechanical aptitude. We are looking for candidates with the ability to provide quality work with keen attention to detail.

 
Other requirements of the Service Technician role include:

• 2+ years of maintenance or technician experience
• Associate’s Degree in a related field, preferred
• Class A CDL Commercial Driver’s License, preferred
• High level of computer literacy
• Safety-minded work habits
• Clean driving record
