QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Back to top GS-05:Specialized experience: To qualify at the GS-05 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-04 in the Federal service or equivalent pay band. Specialized experience is defined as work that involves experience with military personnel regulations, policies or directives; demonstrating fact finding skills to determine appropriate actions necessary to accomplish task; and utilizing knowledge of information management regulations to prepare correspondence and mailings, maintain records and file. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, and abilities) in the following areas:
- Ability to use automated systems
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures relating to military personnel programs
- Ability to organize workload
- Skill in providing customer service
- Ability to coordinate correspondence
