Sales Engineer II at Fargo

Job Description

Provides pre-sales technical support and direction to sales professional and support staff. Gathers appropriate technical information and business requirements to create customer solutions. Works collectively to complete proposals and develop standardized and custom service pricing. Promotes telecommunications products, co-sells with sales team and assists with customer sales calls. Responsible for staying current on market changes, emerging products and services, competitor offerings, etc.

Job Requirements

- 4-year degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering or equivalent in experience.

- 5 years applicable engineering or engineering sales work experience

- In-depth knowledge of Cisco equipment and software configurations, IP and related protocols, LAN/WAN protocols and network security.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong computer skills.

- Detail oriented and accurate.
