Rush Enterprises is seeking Mobile Diesel Mechanics in Dickinson, Minot and Williston, ND! 

Relocation assistance and Sign-On Bonus may be available to those who qualify! Housing Assistance Available for Minot and Williston!

Essential Functions: 

• Maintain equipment according to company standards.
• Maintain all aspects of equipment maintenance.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and will be assigned duties on a daily basis. 
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and be available for an open work schedule.
• Ensure proficiency in diesel mechanics and maintenance.
• Participate in training and utilize that training in the course of their work.
• Follow vendor procedures in maintaining all tools and equipment.
• Report any equipment problems or failures to management immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Must maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain the quality appearance of the service truck as well as presenting themselves in a professional manner and appearance.
• Maintain and inventory the supplied tools for the work required in maintaining diesel engine trucks and associated equipment.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of diesel maintenance and repair experience required; field service experience preferred
• ASE certifications in related fields preferred (Cummins, CAT, MX, Detroit Diesel, Paccar and crane certifications a plus)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; Certification from Diesel Technical school a plus
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Good written and verbal skills and computer proficiency required
• Must have valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
• Must possess own hand tools
• Must be comfortable working in a flat rate shop
• Must be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions unsupervised
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
