Job Description

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pmJOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assembly-type functions according to instructions, blueprints, production standards, and safety guidelines. Operate all equipment needed to perform job. The equipment may include, but is not limited to pneumatic air tools, torque wrenches, presses, grinders, sanders, saws, and all forms of hand tools, Perform quality checks and inspect parts for non-conformity and flaws. Contact leadership immediately, if part quality does not meet established standards.May be required to perform basic equipment wiring of lights or other electrical components. Operate both stationary and moving overhead cranes. After forklift certification and training, may operate forklift as required. Use appropriate measuring tools to ensure part placement, part quality, and assembly accuracy. Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required. Return all unused parts to stock. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Assist with the training of new assemblers.Assist with other departments as requested.Using clock system, record time for each assembly process. Keep production supervisor advised of absences, work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively independently or in teams. Good eye to hand coordination and dexterity. Ability to use hand and power tools.Ability to use math and measuring devices.
