Diesel Technician at Williston

An industry leading Ag Implement Dealership is seeking a Diesel Technician to join their team. They have multiple locations and are continuing to grow as a company. This position will offer great opportunity for growth & continued education/certifications. This company looks to invest in their employees and really make them feel a part of the team. Diesel Technician Functions:

• Work on basic farm equipment (combine, tractors, etc.)


• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades, controlling corrosion, completing winterization procedures


• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards


• Enhance maintenance department and reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments


• Work on various machines


• Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems

Diesel Technician Qualifications:

• 2 years experience with diesel/engine repair


• Ag Farm Equipment, Ag Diesel Tech background preferred


• Problem solving & trouble shooting skills


• Teamwork & ability to work well with others


• Driving record in good standing


• CDL or ability to obtain one


• Extremely familiar with diesel engines

Compensation:

• $18-$31/hourly
